		El-Sisi was born on 19 November 1954 in Old Cairo, to Said Hussein Khalili al-Sisi and Soad Mohamed, both from Monufia Governorate. He grew up in Gamaleya, near al-Azhar Mosque, in a quarter where Muslims, Jews and Christians resided. He is the second eldest of eight siblings. Sisi and his siblings studied at the nearby library at al-Azhar University. He went to a local army-run secondary school, where he developed a relationship with his maternal cousin, Entissar Amer.</div>

		As a young man. El-Sisi joined the Egyptian Army and held a post in Saudi Arabia before enrolling in the Egyptian Army&#39;s Command and Staff College. Before becoming director of military intelligence in 2010, he served as a mechanized infantry commander. After graduating from the Egyptian Military Academy, he held various command positions and also served as military attache in Riyadh.</div>

		During the Egyptian Revolution of 2011, Sisi was the youngest member of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), serving as the director of military intelligence and reconnaissance department. Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud on Saturday said the role of lawyers has evolved to address myriad global legal challenges in an era characterised by ever-increasing globalisation.

Inspire Films Ltd, a television content company, will launch an initial public offering (IPO) to raise Rs 21.22 crore.
The IPO, which will open for subscription during September 25-27, comprises 35.98 lakh shares for Rs 59 a piece with a face value of Rs 10 each, said a statement from the company.
A total of 10.24 lakh shares will be allotted to anchor investors and 6.82 lakh shares are reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs). While 5.14 lakh shares are reserved for high net-worth individuals (HNIs), 11.98 lakh shares are meant for retail investors and 1.80 lakh shares for market makers.
"Following the IPO, the company's shares will be listed on the NSE Emerge platform on October 9, 2023," it added.

International credit agency Moody's Investors Service has made sweeping assertions against Aadhaar without citing any evidence, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) said on Monday.
The UIDAI issued a strong rebuttal to Moody's Investors Service which claimed that the Aadhaar system often results in service denials and the reliability of biometric technologies, especially for manual labourers, in hot and humid climates is questionable.
"A certain investor service has, without citing any evidence or basis, made sweeping assertions against Aadhaar, the most trusted digital ID in the world. Over the last decade, over a billion Indians have expressed their trust in Aadhaar by using it to authenticate themselves over 100 billion times," the UIDAI said in a statement.
The unique id Aadhaar's custodian said that the report in question does not cite either primary or secondary data or research in support of the opinions presented in it.

Air India and Singapore Airlines will ensure minimum capacity on various domestic and international routes, including Delhi-Sydney and Delhi-Paris, as part of commitments made to fair trade regulator CCI to address possible competition concerns arising out of the Vistara merger.
Competition Commission of India (CCI), on September 1, approved the proposed merger of Vistara with Air India under a deal wherein Singapore Airlines will also acquire a 25.1 per cent stake in Air India.
Certain competition concerns due to the proposed merger were raised by the watchdog and to address them, the airlines have given certain commitments with respect to the merger.
As per the commitments, Air India has voluntarily offered to maintain "minimum capacity/ supply level" on certain overlapping O&D (Origin & Destination) domestic and overseas routes.

Drug major Cipla on Tuesday said it has introduced drone-powered deliveries of critical medicines for hospitals and pharmacies in Himachal Pradesh in partnership with Sky Air Mobility.
The Mumbai-based firm aims to deliver medicines for cardiac, respiratory and other essential chronic therapies as part of the initiative.
