Zen Technologies bags order from Egypt's Defence Ministry

Hyderabad-based simulation technology solutions company Zen Technologies Limited today announced its biggest export order till date, of about Rs 30 crore from Egypt. The Ministry of Defence (MoD), Egypt, has chosen Zen Technologies to provide a range of training equipment including Smart Target Systems, according to the company.

"Zen Technologies has over the years emerged as a strong player in the field of defence training simulation in India and it has been our endevour to expand our presence abroad-specifically Middle East and African region. The order from the Egyptian Government is a reflection of our commitment towards providing the best training tools to security forces to tackle and neutralise both external and internal threats," Ashok Atluri, chairman and managing director of Zen Technologies said.

Various MoDs globally have been showing interest in the training solutions offered by the company, especially the Combat Training Center,  and expect more breakthroughs in the coming months, according to him.

Zen Technologies develops state-of-the-art training equipment and simulators for weapons and allied defence equipment. Incorporated in 1993, the company has over the years designed, developed and manufactured various types of training equipment and simulators. It has supplied over 450 simulators to over 100 customers across all the three armed forces in India and other countries, according to the company.
