Lok Sabha Elections Exit Poll Results 2024 LIVE: Various exit polls have forecast a third consecutive term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the BJP-led NDA projected to open its account in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. All exit polls unanimous predict NDA's improved performance in the south and in Bengal. Six exit polls have predicted that that the NDA is likely to secure 357 seats and the INDIA bloc could bag 148 seats. The BJP's individual score will be 327 seats, the Congress, 52.

A voter turnout of 59.15 per cent was registered on Saturday in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Incidents of violence between TMC and BJP supporters were reported in Sandeshkhali region of West Bengal, and complaints of EVM glitches and rigging at some booths lodged. Polling was conducted in seven states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh for 57 constituencies.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge urged people  to vote for change and stated that the "festival of democracy" will be considered successful only when democratic powers defeat the dictatorial ones. The senior Congress leader stated that the last phase of voting to save the Constitution and democracy was underway in the country and the INDIA bloc was fighting the dictatorial powers with courage. "The battle is now in its final phase. The public has stood firmly with us in every phase. After six phases, people want to see us win," Kharge said in a post on 'X'. "The people want to see the Congress' guarantees fulfilled. This time the country has supported and sided with 'Yuva Nyay, Kisaan Nyay, Nari Nyay, Shramik Nyay and Hissedari Nyay," he added.

After the exit polls predicted that the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is poised to retain power at the Centre with a thumping majority and register its third straight win in the Lok Sabha polls, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the exit polls show 360 seats in favour of NDA but the exact polls on June 4 will show more than 400 seats.

Talking about the different exit polls released on Saturday, Pramod Sawant said, "Different channels and agencies are showing different data on today's exit polls, but one thing is for sure that the BJP-led NDA is winning nearly 360 seats according to the exit polls."

'Channels must have received instructions from PMO,' says RJD's Manoj Jha on exit polls

After the release of exit poll predictions for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Rajya Sabha MP and RJD leader Manoj Jha said that he and his party do not believe in exit polls and the Lok Sabha elections in 2004 and 2009 too had proved otherwise.

"I have gone through many exit polls. My party and I never believed in it. We have many examples including the 2004 and 2009 Lok Sabha elections which proved otherwise. I feel that the channels have received instructions from the PMO. They must have spent so much on these channels. I was a part of Tejashwi's campaign and it created a wave of transformation amongst people. I feel that we will win over 25 seats in Bihar," said Manoj Jha.
