PM Modi alleges Congress of blaming people for their mistake. Before 2014, people were on streets against corruption, terror attacks rocked major cities and Cong ran govt by remote control, says PM Modi. "Congress would have taken forty more years to complete 100% vaccination programme. Fifty years back congress has promised to remove poverty from India and it is the worst betrayal so far, says PM. "This 'guarantee habit' of Congress is not new, it is old. 50 years back, Congress gave the 'garibi hatao' guarantee to the country. This is Congress party's biggest treachery with the poor. Congress' strategy has been to trick the poor. People of Rajasthan have suffered due to this," said PM Modi in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
The index of eight core industries (ICI) measures combined and individual performance of production of core industries viz. coal, crude oil, natural gas, refinery products, fertilizers, steel, cement and electricity. They comprise 40.27 percent of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP). Coal production growth declined to 9 per cent in April this year. India's infrastructure output for April slowed to 3.5% from 3.6% a month earlier and also sharply eased from 9.5% growth a year earlier.
