Akasa Air has moved court against 43 pilots claiming that they have quit the airline without completing a notice period of six months, reports The Economic Times. The airline in a petition filed with Bombay High Court has sought that pilots be barred joining any airline till the time they complete the mandatory notice period, which was part of employment agreement.

In the resolution on Manipur, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) expressed its profound sense of loss and anguish at the ongoing situation of ethnic violence in the state.
 
"The people of Manipur have witnessed extreme devastation and are facing innumerable hardships. More than 200 lives have been lost, over 500 injured and more than 5,000 houses gutted in arson-related incidents. A staggering number of over 60,000 people are displaced and continue to live in dire conditions in relief camps across the state," the resolution stated.

Fuel prices hit record high in Pakistan

According to a report from Dawn News, Pakistan's petrol and diesel prices have surged to an all-time high due to a recent decision by the interim government to raise prices by PKR 26.02 and PKR 17.34 per litre, respectively. This increase follows a previous hike in gas prices observed in August, where petrol and diesel prices rose by PKR 32.41 and PKR 38.49 per litre, respectively. In total, there has been a combined increase of PKR 58.43 per litre for petrol and PKR 55.83 per litre for diesel in just one month.
