On Day 8 (October 01) of the 2023 Asian Games, Avinash Sable in men's steeplechase 3000m, Tejinderpal Singh Toor in men’s Shot Put and Men's trap shooters Kynan Darius Zoravar Singh and Prithviraj won three gold medals for India. Check 2023 Asian Games medal tally here
Murli Sreeshankar in the men’s Long Jump, the Men’s Badminton team, Ajay Kumar Saroj in the men’s 1500m, Harmilan Bains in women’s 1500m, Aditi Ashok in the women’s golf individual event, Women’s Trap team in Shooting and Jyothi Yarraji in women’s 110m hurdles won silver medals. Bronze medals were won by Nikhat Zareen in boxing after she was beaten in the semi-final, Nandini Agasara in the women’s Heptathlon, Kynan Darius in men’s trap Shooting and Jinson Johnson in men’s 1500m race.
