Kalpataru Projects International board to raise Rs 300 cr through NCDs

Kalpataru Projects International on Monday said its board has approved the proposal to raise Rs 300 crore through the issuance of Non-convertible Debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis. A total of 30,000 NCDs of face value of Rs 1,00,000 each, aggregating to Rs 300 crore is proposed to be issued, a BSE filing stated. According to the filing, the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors at its meeting held today has approved the issuance of unsecured, rated, listed, redeemable, non-convertible debentures of Rs 300 crore on private placement basis. The NCDs will be listed at the Wholesale Debt Market Segment of BSE Ltd. The deemed date of allotment is June 13, 2024, while its final redemption (100 per cent) will be done by June 11, 2027. The coupon/interest offered is 8.35 per cent per annum.

Kalpataru Projects bags orders worth Rs 2,071 cr for metro tunnel project

Engineering firm Kalpataru Projects International Ltd(KPIL) on Thursday said the company and its arms have bagged orders worth Rs 2,071 crore for power transmission and distribution and construction of an underground metro rail tunnel project. KPIL is one of the largest specialised EPC (engineering procurement construction) companies engaged in power transmission and distribution, railways, highways, and airports, among others. According to a statement, KPIL and its joint ventures (JVs) and international subsidiaries have secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs 2,071 crore. The new orders include orders in the transmission & distribution (T&D) business in overseas markets. Kalpataru Projects International to lay 800 kms gas pipeline for Aramco

Kalpataru Projects International on Tuesday said it has secured an order from Saudi Arabia's energy major Aramco for laying 800 kilometres of gas pipeline. Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has received the letter of intent (LoI) from Aramco for carrying out engineering, procurement and construction works for three packages of the third expansion phase of the Master Gas System Network (MGS-3) in Saudi Arabia, KPIL said in a statement. The EPC work scope covers laying of over 800 kms of lateral gas pipeline, it said, adding that the value of the project will be confirmed upon contract execution. MGS-3 project aims to expand the existing gas network to supply gas to various industrial consumers. Kalpataru Projects Q3 results: Profit rises over 32% to Rs 144 crore

Engineering major Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL) on Wednesday reported over 32 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 144 crore in December quarter compared to a year ago mainly on the back of higher revenues. Its profit stood at Rs 109 crore in the quarter ended on December 31, 2022, a regulatory filing showed. Total income increased to Rs 4,910 crore in the December quarter from Rs 4,006 crore in the same period a year ago. The board in its meeting on Wednesday, approved the proposal for issuance of secured/unsecured redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures up to Rs 300 crores by the company in one or more tranches. The company said in a separate statement that it received new orders of Rs 380 crores in Q4 FY24 till date and YTD (Year to Date) FY24 order inflows stand at Rs 18,065 crores. Engineering and construction firm Kalpataru Projects International said the company along with overseas subsidiaries and joint ventures bagged new orders worth Rs 3,244 crore and also announced its foray into underground metro rail tunnelling segment. Kalpataru Projects International profit rises over 28% to Rs 113 cr in Q1

Kalpataru Projects International on Friday said it posted over 28 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 113 crore in the June quarter mainly on the back of higher revenues. The company had reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 88 crore in the year-ago quarter, a BSE filing showed. Total income of the company rose to Rs 4,259 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 3,691 crore a year ago. The board also approved the proposal for issuing secured/unsecured redeemable non-convertible debentures of up to Rs 300 crore by the company in one or more tranches. "We have delivered another quarter of strong performance with notable growth in revenue, profitability and order book. Kalpataru Projects International secures fresh orders worth over Rs 1000 cr

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) on Friday said it has bagged new orders totalling Rs 1,008 crore in the domestic and international markets. In an exchange filing, the company said its order inflows stood at Rs 5,122 crores in the first quarter or Q1 of FY 2023-24 on a consolidated basis. Orders in the T&D (transmission and distribution) business are Rs 635 crore in India and overseas markets, and civil works for buildings in India are Rs 373 crore, it said. Kalpataru Projects International promoters divest 6% stake for Rs 468 cr

Promoters of Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (earlier known as Kalpataru Power Transmission) on Tuesday divested 6 per cent of their stake in the firm for Rs 468 crore through open market transactions. Parag Mofatraj Munot (promoter) and two promoter group entities -- Kalpataru Constructions Pvt Ltd and Kalpataru Viniyog LLP -- offloaded 96.34 lakh shares of Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL). According to the bulk deal data available with the BSE, Munot sold 73.24 lakh shares, Kalpataru Constructions disposed of 10 lakh shares and Kalpataru Viniyog offloaded 13.10 lakh shares, amounting to a 5.9 per cent stake in KPIL. The shares were disposed of in the range of Rs 485.06-485.75 apiece, taking the transaction value to around Rs 468 crore. Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) Wednesday said it has entered into binding agreements with Canada's institutional fund manager CDPQ's arm CLP India to sell its stake in 3 power transmission assets for an estimated enterprise value of Rs 3,275 crore. The company is selling stake in Kalpataru Satpura Transco Pvt Ltd (KSTPL), Alipurduar Transmission Ltd (ATL) and Kohima Mariani Transmission Ltd (KMTL) (referred jointly as SPVs), Kalpataru Power Transmission said in a BSE filing.
