Shares of NMDC Steel Limited on Monday got listed on the stock exchanges -- BSE and NSE.
The equity shares of the company was also listed on the Calcutta Stock Exchange, NMDC Steel said in a regulatory filing.
"The equity shares of NMDC Steel commenced listing and trading today at BSE and NSE," it said.
The stock got listed at Rs 30.25 apiece on the BSE. It settled 4.96 per cent higher at Rs 31.75 per share.
On the NSE, the company shares debut at Rs 30.25 and closed 4.95 per cent higher.
The company's market valuation stood at Rs 9,304.67 crore on the BSE.
NMDC Steel is a newly formed entity post its demerger from mining giant NMDC Limited.

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday announced that three new air routes would be operationalised in Arunachal Pradesh by October this year.

International credit agency Moody's Investors Service has made sweeping assertions against Aadhaar without citing any evidence, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) said on Monday.
The UIDAI issued a strong rebuttal to Moody's Investors Service which claimed that the Aadhaar system often results in service denials and the reliability of biometric technologies, especially for manual labourers, in hot and humid climates is questionable.
"A certain investor service has, without citing any evidence or basis, made sweeping assertions against Aadhaar, the most trusted digital ID in the world. Over the last decade, over a billion Indians have expressed their trust in Aadhaar by using it to authenticate themselves over 100 billion times," the UIDAI said in a statement.
The unique id Aadhaar's custodian said that the report in question does not cite either primary or secondary data or research in support of the opinions presented in it.

Indian wushu player Rohit Jadhav finished a disappointing eight in men's Daoshu Final at the Asian Games here on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Jadhav scored a total of 9.413, whereas Chinese Zhizhao Chang (9.826) and Chinese Taipei Chen Ming Wang (9.736) finished in the first and second spot, respectively.
In Daoshu, an athlete uses a sword as the main element of the routine and is judged on the basis of quality of movement, overall performance and degree of difficulty.
