Suzlon secures 103.95 MW wind project from AMPIN Energy Transition

Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Group on Tuesday said it has secured a 103.95 MW wind project from AMPIN Energy Transition. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply wind turbines and execute the project, including erection and commissioning, at Fatehgarh district of Rajasthan, a company statement said. Suzlon will install 33 wind turbine generators with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each. It will also undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-commissioning. The project is part of the hybrid project under various bids from SECI and C&I (Commercial & Industrial) customers. A project of this size can provide electricity to 85,000 households and curb 3.38 lakh tonne of CO2 emissions per year. Suzlon denies any financial irregularity as independent director quits

Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Energy on Monday clarified that there are no financial irregularities or compliance violations within the organization, following the resignation of its independent director Marc Desaedeleer. Desaedeleer resigned on Saturday and raised corporate governance issues within the company in his resignation on June 8, 2024, as per a BSE filing. In the resignation Desaedeleer said, "I am very pleased with the operational and financial performance recorded by the company over the last eighteen months. But, over the same period and including recently, several situations occurred where the corporate governance standards applied by the company did not meet my expectations including situations where communications lacked the level of openness and transparency, I would have liked to see." Suzlon Group gets 82 megawatt wind energy project from Oyster Green

Suzlon Group on Friday said it has secured a wind energy project of about 82 megawatt (MW) from Oyster Green Hybrid One Pvt Ltd. It will install 26 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each having a rated capacity of 3.15 MW at Oyster Green's site at Agar in Madhya Pradesh, the company said in a statement. "Suzlon secures a new order of 81.9 MW for the 3 MW series from Oyster Green Hybrid One Private Limited," it said. Suzlon secures 72.45 MW wind power project from Juniper Green Energy

Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon Group on Thursday said it has secured a 72.45 MW wind power project from Juniper Green Energy Pvt Ltd. As part of the project, Suzlon will install 23 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 Megawatt (MW) each at the client's site at the Dwarka district in Gujarat, a company statement said. The company will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and execute the project with a scope of supply, supervision, and commissioning. Additionally, Suzlon will undertake post-commissioning operation and maintenance services, according to the statement. Suzlon bags 642 MW project from ACPL to set wind turbines in Andhra

Renewables solutions provider Suzlon Group on Tuesday said it has bagged a 642-MW wind power project from an Evren company, ABC Cleantech Private Limited (ACPL). Evren is a joint venture in India between Brookfield and Axis Energy. As part of the order, Suzlon will install 214 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each in Andhra Pradesh, a company statement said. Suzlon Energy appoints Sairam Prasad as CEO of wholly-owned subsidiary SGSL

Suzlon Energy Ltd on Tuesday announced the appointment of Sairam Prasad as the CEO of its wholly-owned subsidiary Suzlon Global Services Limited (SGSL). His appointment is with effect from January 16, the company said in a regulatory filing. Envision Energy to supply 100 turbines for 300 MW wind project in Karnataka

Envision Energy on Monday said it will supply around 100 turbines of 3.3 MW for a 300-MW offshore wind project coming up in Karnataka. The project will be set up by investment fund Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) for Viviid Renewables (Viviid) in the southern state under a partnership, Envision Energy said. "CIP has signed a turbine supply agreement for the EN 156 3.3 MW turbines with Envision Wind Power Technologies India. Viviid will provide balance-of-plant works and services and hold minority ownership in the project," it said. In the statement, Envision Energy did not disclose any financial information with respect to the project. Envision will supply turbines in the range of 95-100 for the project expected to be completed by end of 2025. Renewable solutions provider Suzlon Energy on Wednesday said Crisil upgraded its ratings by two notches to BBB+/A2 with a positive outlook.
