Tata Housing, a subsidiary of Tata Sons, on Wednesday said its net sales bookings grew by 40 per cent during the last fiscal year on a strong demand for residential properties in its projects.
The company did not disclose the sales bookings value for the 2022-23 fiscal.
In a statement, Tata Housing said it has achieved the highest-ever annual residential sales.
"Owing to positive consumer sentiments and a strong business proposition,  Tata Housing witnessed an exponential demand from North, West, South & East markets...," the company said in a statement.

Tata Housing's sale bookings surged five folds to Rs 623 crore in April-June 2022-23  on strong demand across its residential projects.
Tata Housing, which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt Ltd, is one of the leading real estate players in the country and is developing projects across major cities.
Sanjay Dutt, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Realty & Infrastructure, said: "With the rise in demand propelled by normalcy post the last COVID wave, Tata Housing has generated Rs 623 crore revenue in Q1 and has added Luxa One in Maldives to our portfolio."
Housing sales of almost all real estate developers were badly impacted in June quarter last fiscal year because of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With exponential growth  in the first quarter of FY23, he said the company looks forward to reshaping the demand for residential solutions in India and international markets.
He expects to clock triple-digit growth in current fiscal year.

Tata group's real estate arm Tata Housing plans to invest around Rs 1,200 crore over the next two years to acquire land outright and through joint ventures across major cities to develop group housing projects as well as for plotted development, which has gained traction amid the COVID pandemic.
In an interview with PTI, Tata Realty and Infrastructure CEO & MD Sanjay Dutt noted that the demand for plots has increased significantly during the pandemic and highlighted that the company has sold all 157 plots in Bengaluru for Rs 130 crore.
Tata Housing Development Company Ltd and Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd are 100 per cent subsidiaries of Tata Sons.
Tata Housing has recently launched a project 'Swaram' at Devanahalli in Bengaluru, Dutt said, adding that the plots were sold out within 36 hours of its launch. "We sold all 157 plots for Rs 130 crore," he said.

Adani Group on Thursday bagged two contracts worth Rs 13,888 crore from a state-owned discom to install smart meters.
A total of six tenders were awarded by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) to install smart meters, of which two have been bagged by the Adani Group, according to an official communiqu from the discom seen by PTI.
The diversified group, which has a sizeable presence in the power sector and had recently won a Rs 1,000 crore contract to install smart meters in the area serviced by BEST Undertaking in Mumbai, will act as an advanced metering infrastructure service provider for smart prepaid metering in MSEDCL, it said.
The two zones awarded to Adani include Bhandup, Kalyan and Konkan having 63.44 lakh meters, and Baramati and Pune having 52.45 lakh meters, it said.
Letter of Awards have been issued to the successful firms, as per the communiqu.
Officials from Adani Group were not immediately available for comment.

Hong Kong's leader said on Tuesday that the territory will tighten regulation of digital assets after police arrested six people following allegations of fraud at an unlicensed cryptocurrency exchange in the city.
The arrests on Monday followed an announcement by Hong Kong's securities watchdog last week that the exchange, JPEX, was unlicensed and did not have authority to operate its cryptocurrency trading platform in the city.
The Securities and Futures Commission said it had received more than 1,400 complaints against JPEX involving more than 1 billion Hong Kong dollars (USD 127.9 million) in losses.
The SFC also said some investors said complained of being unable to withdraw their virtual assets from JPEX accounts or of finding their balances were reduced and altered.
The SFC and police were expected to release details on the case later Tuesday.

The Supreme Court on Friday said it would list pleas on the issue of marital rape for hearing in mid-October. The pleas raise the legal question of whether a husband enjoys immunity from prosecution for the offence of rape if he forces his wife, who is not a minor, to have sex.

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to entertain a PIL seeking an audit of the software used in electronic voting machines (EVMs) used by the Election Commission.
A bench comprising Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud and Justices J B Pardiwala and Manoj Misra said no actionable material that the poll panel acted in breach of constitutional mandate in holding polls has been placed before it.
The Election Commission is entrusted with the control over elections. Presently, the petitioner places no actionable material before this court to show that the poll panel has acted in breach of its constitutional mandate. There is no material before us which casts doubt on EVMs, the bench said.
Before filing the petition, PIL petitioner Sunil Ahya had made representations to the Election Commission seeking an independent audit of the source code of the EVMs.
The source code is the brain behind the EVM and it is about survival of democracy, Ahya said.
