Suzlon bags 30 MW wind project from EDF Renewables, to install 10 WTGs

Renewable energy solutions provider Suzlon on Thursday said it has bagged an order for a 30 MW wind power energy project from EDF Renewables. As part of the order, Suzlon will install 10 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each in Gujarat, a company statement said. Suzlon will execute the project with a scope of supply, supervision, commissioning, post-commissioning and maintenance services, the statement said. JP Chalasani, Chief Executive Officer, Suzlon Group, said, "EDF Renewables is a highly reputed Global power company with an established track record in renewable energy. Adani Group's wind project in Lanka to be ready by 2024: Energy minister

The renewable energy project to generate 500 MW in Sri Lanka's north and eastern regions undertaken by India's Adani Group will be completed by December next year, Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara has said. SJVN Green Energy bagged 200 MW wind energy project worth Rs 1,400 cr

State-owned SJVN Ltd arm SJVN Green Energy on Monday bagged a 200 MW wind power project entailing an investment of Rs 1,400 crore in a tariff-based competitive bidding conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India. This wind power project will be developed by SJVN Green Energy anywhere in India through EPC (engineering procurement construction) contract, a BSE filing stated. The tentative cost of construction/development of this project is Rs 1,400 crore, it said. Vibrant Energy gets over Rs 2,200 cr for its 300MWac wind-solar projects

Vibrant Energy has tied up over Rs 2,200 crore of project financing from state-run Power Finance Corporation (PFC) to build 300 MWac wind-solar hybrid projects in Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. Suzlon secures 144.9 MW wind power order from Aditya Birla Group

Suzlon Group on Tuesday announced that it has bagged an order for the development of 144.9 MW of wind power projects for Aditya Birla Group. "Suzlon Group, which has India's largest wind energy installed base, today announced its new order win for the development of 144.9 MW wind power projects for the Aditya Birla Group, a leading Indian Conglomerate," a statement said. Suzlon will install 69 units of wind turbine generators (wind turbines) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. The project is located at sites in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and is expected to be commissioned in 2023. Adani Green commissions 325-MW wind power project in Dhar district of MP

Adani Green Energy Limited has commissioned a 325-megawatt wind energy plant in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. With the commissioning of this plant, its operational generation capacity has increased to 6.1 gigawatt (GW), Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) said in a statement on Monday. "Adani Wind Energy MP One Private Ltd (AWEMP1PL), a subsidiary of AGEL, has commissioned a 324.4 MW wind power plant in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh," it said. The plant has two 25-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), one for 274.4 MW energy and another for 50 MW power, at a tariff of Rs 2.83 per kwh (kilowatt hour). The newly commissioned plant will be managed by the Adani Group's 'Energy Network Operation Centre' platform, which provides technological assistance.
